into the communications facility on twin peaks and cut several wires this morning. police say none of the wiring was stolen. and that the vandalism did not impact any essential city services. but there are reports that some of the city's police and fire stations are dispatched from that facility. and since it is part of the city's radio network, the fbi was notified as well. so anybody with information on this case of vandalism is asked to call the police department's anonymous tip line at this number. you can also text a tip -- a tip, 411, with a message starting sfpd. >>> happening right now, firefighters from the bay area helping crews fight this wildfire burning in placer county near the town of forest hill and colfax. the fire has burned 20 acres so far, and officials say it is 30% contained. one home has been destroyed, another 100 strengthed. 11 firefighters have been injured as well. nbc has more on the fire, and how it affects the amount of fire coverage we have here in the bay area. >> reporter: diane, for a few months firefighters warned about dry conditions throughout the bay area. t
